West Sayville Golf Course.
Thanks to Howie Ryan '77, we are currently in
the process of building out a "Class of 1978"
Website to be used for our 30 year reunion.

passed on to the next class celebrating their
30th reunion. At the same time, the site will

and 1974 began on Friday evening at Scotty's
Pub; followed by the Amazing Road Rally Race
on Saturday morning, a Varsity football game
in the afternoon and dinner and dancing at
Snapper Inn, Oakdale. The committee would
like to thank Scotty's Pub, Steve and Pam
Sinacore, Sayville Athletic Department ,
Sayville Library, Runaway Bay Books,
George's T.V., Sayville Modern Diner , West
Sayville Golf Course and Snapper Inn,

The Class of 1968 had an informal 41st
reunion of some of the local classmates.
About 20 met at the Snapper Inn for drinks
and conversation. Our big 40th reunion was
last September with 101 classmates
attending. |
The class of 1968 held it's 40th reunion
on Sept 13, 2008..
Thanks to the work of Craig Boyer and Laura
Whiston Hanks, classmates from around the
country attended. One hundred and one
classmates along with spouses, friends and
former teachers had a great time at the
Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. The next day
the reunion continued with a bbq at the home
of Clegg and Sharon Abernathy.

The Reunion
lasted three days and co-joined with
Connetquot's class of 1967. We started out
with a cocktail Ice Breaker party June 23rd
at the Hilton Garden where everyone got to
hug and say hello to old classmates. Then on
Saturday morning, June 24th, many Sayville
1967 Alumni joined the Sayville graduating
class of 2007 to walk in front of them
carrying a banner at Commencement
Ceremonies. Saturday night we all gathered
at the Snapper Inn for a spectacular
evening...picture perfect weather and all
were pleasantly surprised to have our guest
of honor....our principal from way back
then, Mr. Limouze and his lovely wife. What
a fantastic evening we had. Sunday we
concluded our fun with a picnic/beach party
in Poquott, at the home of Sharon and Clegg
Abernathy, former alumni. |

completion for our 45th celebration.

reunion will be held 8/13/2010 at Snapper
Inn in Oakdale. Other activities are being
planned such as a golf outing, a trip across
the Bay, and other social gatherings. As of

Reunion for all the Classes of SHS in
the first half of the last century
- 1900 to 1950. We have commitments from the
classes of '38, '43,'44.'45,'46,'47,'48,'49,
and '50 so far. Addresses are very hard to
