Reunion is set for Saturday, August 2, 2008 at
Island Hills Country Club in Sayville. We plan
on having a warm up Friday night at the Portly
Villager and a Sunday Family Day at Sayville
Marina Park (at the end of Foster Ave.) This
is the Sayville Fest weekend, so there should
be a lot to do. Payment and Hotel info will
follow shortly.

The Class of 1978 30
year reunion will be held on 8/9/08 at the
West Sayville Golf Course.
Thanks to Howie Ryan '77, we are currently in
the process of building out a "Class of 1978"
Website to be used for our 30 year reunion.

The goal is to set up a site which can be
passed on to the next class celebrating their
30th reunion. At the same time, the site will
contain links to previous classes that have
utilized the site.
Thanks to JoAnn (Caradonna) Stafford, who has
offered to serve as Treasurer for this event!
She has set up a checking account for our
class and is now accepting payment for the
event. The cost per person is $100. Please
send in your payment ASAP so we can determine
as early as possible what type of turnout we

 The Class of 1973
has successfully concluded another reunion
with over 100 persons in attendance. Looks
like Sheryl Crooks wins the prize for
traveling the furthest, she resides in
Portland, Oregon. The evening was
highlighted with our first ever Trivia
Contest. Who would have guessed the
favorite song from 1973 was Tie a Yellow
Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree. The
reunion committee thanks everyone for
their attendance and looks forward to

summer. I went back to Sayville 6
times since then but only saw 2
friends Sharon (Way) Usinger &
Laurie (Usinger) Sheridan back in 1977.

1967- 40th Class Reunion |

The Reunion
lasted three days and co-joined with
Connetquot's class of 1967. We started out
with a cocktail Ice Breaker party June 23rd
at the Hilton Garden where everyone got to
hug and say hello to old classmates. Then on
Saturday morning, June 24th, many Sayville
1967 Alumni joined the Sayville graduating
class of 2007 to walk in front of them
carrying a banner at Commencement
Ceremonies. Saturday night we all gathered
at the Snapper Inn for a spectacular
evening...picture perfect weather and all
were pleasantly surprised to have our guest
of honor....our principal from way back
then, Mr. Limouze and his lovely wife. What
a fantastic evening we had. Sunday we
concluded our fun with a picnic/beach party
in Poquott, at the home of Sharon and Clegg
Abernathy, former alumni. |
