 The
Common Ground will kick off its fourth season of Family
Fridays with "Improv 4 Kids," on Friday, June 27th at
6:30pm. Improv 4 Kids is a stand-up comedy act delivered by
a group of hilarious comedians from the world famous Laugh
Factory in NYC. The comedians are geared toward children,
and it is guaranteed to be a great show, with lots of laughs
for children and adults. After the show, everyone will join
in one of the childrens favorite events, the annual
Releasing of the Ladybugs with The Purple Lady.
Family Fridays is a summer series at The Common Ground, in
Sayville, with free events for families with children. The
season kicks off on the last day of school, where kids
celebrate the beginning of summer vacation together.
There is a great crowd at the park for Family Fridays;
sometimes more than 400 attend, especially when the weather
is nice. Although the shows themselves are fantastic, what
is especially nice is that when the show is over, families
linger in the park, as children play together and parents
talk and laugh with their neighbors. Family Fridays is truly
a rewarding series of events, bringing people together in
the small-town way we cherish in Sayville.
