The April's Islip Town board meeting was held at the Sayville High School at 20 Brook Street in West Sayville. Islip Supervisor Phil Nolan and the Town Board honored the Sayville Boys Varsity Soccer, the Sayville Girls Varsity Track, the Sayville Girls Varsity Swimming, the Sayville Robotics Team and the Sayville Food Pantry Volunteers. Islip residents were encouraged to meet the Board members and discuss their concerns after the award ceremony.

A musical prelude presented by the Sayville String Ensemble opened the meeting which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem sang by the Sayville Jazz Choir.
