For authentic Greek cuisine in a warm traditional atmosphere the Aegean Cafe is the place to be. The menu boasts appetizers such as Tzatziki (Greek yogurt sauce with cucumber, garlic and olive oil, served with pita), Spanakopita (fresh spinach and feta cheese, baked in phyllo pastry), Taramosalata (Greek caviar with olive oil, served with pita), Gyro and Athenian melts. The entrees list features Moussaka (eggplant, chopped meat, sliced potatoes and bechamel sauce), and Souvlaki dinners. If you are in the mood for pasta, taste Cephalonia, Zakinthos, or Mykonos pasta. For dessert you can sample Baklava, Galaktoboureko or Kaitifi. For something light but still veritable Greek, the spinach and feta cheese on a pita with melted mozzarella cheese was delightful and filling.
