The Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce is in its final preparation for the annual fall festival and battle of the BBQ Brethren BBQ competition.

This fantastic event includes activities for the entire family. The weekend begins on Main Street Saturday, Oct 20th at 10:00 with live music, carnival rides, petting zoo, pony rides, art show, mums, roasted & kettle corn, pickles & apple fritters.

Then at 3:00 in the afternoon the local children will parade thru the streets in their Halloween costumes starting at handsome avenue and ending at the common ground at rotary park where there will be treats and a magic show by Michael Carbonaro and the Jack O’lantern competition sponsored by the local sayville realtors.

The pumpkins must be dropped off and registered between 12 and 3 pm.

Also on Saturday, Oct 20th 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday Oct 21st 10 am to 6 pm in Gillette park and the common ground we will be presenting our first “Battle of the BBQ Brethren” a Kansas city barbeque society sanctioned BBQ competition and exhibition sponsored by Verizon.

There will also be live music, rides and food vendors.

It’s guaranteed to be a weekend long event filled with fun for everyone in the family.
