On behalf of the entire community we wish to thank the Sayville High School Art Students for sharing their time and talent with us. The supplies were purchased or gathered by The Common Ground, but the works of art are from the students. Below is a list of those who participated.

When we first asked if Sayville High School students could assist The Common Ground in beautifying our park, we had no idea of the creative ingenuity they would provide.

Their creations of famous artworks transformed common trash cans in to feasts for the eyes. They blend into the gardens and grassy areas perfectly.

The individual mosaic stepping stones are fanciful delights for all who rest on our benches or those who step through the paths the stones have created.

The bird, bat and butterfly houses are inviting myriad of nature’s flying creatures to join us and fill the air above with song and color.
They have brought a new sense of awe and respect to The Common Ground by representing the high school faction in aesthetic sensitivities we, up until now, lacked.

It is with deep appreciation that we thank these students for their hard work and for sharing with us and with generations to come, their talent and artistry.
