Sayville Fire Department Volunteers Reach Out To Over 1000 Children During Fire Prevention Month

Volunteer members of the Sayville Fire Department were very busy

teaching fire prevention and household safety from the beginning of October until early November.

Every year resources are gathered to meet the requests for fire prevention training for preschools, daycares and elementary schools in Sayville.

Training sessions for groups of all sizes were offered at the firehouse and schools.

In addition, the Sayville Fire Department held an all-day fire prevention event at Sayville’s Fall Festival, where families were taught home and fire safety, received safety literature and participated in other fun activities.
