OutInSayville, a celebration of diversity, friendship, fun, & pride, was held June 24th 2006.

The mission of this full day festival was to bring together all individuals and promote awareness and pride of the GLBT community through a grass roots partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Sayville, and its neighboring community of Cherry Grove, Fire Island.. All profits raised from Out In Sayville events went directly to Thursday’s Child, a local non-profit community-based charity which provides housing and emergency services to our Long Island neighbors living with, and affected by, HIV and AIDS.

Out In Sayville has become a full day festival for families and friends to celebrate diversity in a safe environment. Past participants and speakers have included Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy, Sayville Chamber of Commerce member, Pamela Raymond, who is also the owner of the historic Sayville Inn. Pamela Raymond and Tom Hroncich are the founders of this fun event that marks the beginning of Summer for many who travel to Sayville and the resort communities of Fire Island.

They are most proud that this celebration of diversity generates funds to support local Long Islanders in need.
