The Sayville Village Improvement Society sponsored the 18th Annual Antiques and Collectible Show in Gillette Park on May 21, 2006.

Vendors exhibited wooden items, glassware, porcelain and crystal figures, jewelry and other accessories, dolls, toys, sport memorabilia, posters and furniture. Appraisals were also available. Members of the Society sold baked goods and raffled off an enormous gift basket was raffled off.

Some of the Sayville Village Improvement Society members and friends on hand were David Smith, of Printsmith of Sayville, Joan Isaccaon, Chairperson for the Antique Show, Eileen Benson and Katrine Ebo.

The Sayville Village Improvement Society is a ladies club formed in 1914 for the betterment of their community. New members are encouraged to join and may write to them at P.O. Box 382, Sayville 11782.
