A Cut-A-Thon was held on Sunday, April 9, 2006 to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. The event was sponsored by Capozzi & Co. Salon Inc., through The American Cancer Society.

100% of the proceeds were donated to research. With a haircut clients also received a coupon donated by Sayville Starbucks Coffee for any size free drink.
