Prince of Peace Regional Catholic School located in Sayville is comprised of students from Oakdale to Bellport. This year is the first year the school has participated in the Catholic Middle Schools Athletic Program.

Students in the 6th through 8th grades, under the experienced coach, Debi Pirro, formed a Cross Country Team. They competed against seasoned Catholic Middle School teams and had a very successful year. “This newly formed athletic program is a wonderful venue for our student athletes to compete, show-casing their talent and sportsmanship.

These kids surprised everyone with some amazing wins, as a result of their hard work and dedication, and I think we are all a little sad the season has come to a close,” Pirro acknowledged. Track meets were held in courses from Sunken Meadow to the Hamptons. Now that Prince of Peace Regional Catholic School matriculates to the 8th grade and has added a sports program, the school spirit and pride soars!
