Oakdale Yacht and Greene's Creek Marina

Looking for a family oriented marina to moor your boat, with a swimming pool, barbeque, showers and a snack bar? Oakdale Yacht offers this to it's customers and owners Peggy Crowley and her son Tom Crowley are working toward having the same services available at their West Sayville location, Greene's Creek Marina.

"With today's economy, we are witnessing many families staying at the marina for the day. The kids use the pool, and families gather under the tents we have set up around the property. Unlike years ago, marinas today have become the vacation destination." said Tom.

Both locations are within easy access to many Fire Island communities, and to the Connetquot River with it's beautiful views of the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. They are safe and secure, with electronically operated gates, and have fueling docks. Oakdale Yacht has 25 acres with 200 slips, and Greene's Creek Marina has 14 acres with 135 slips. There is plenty of space for outside winter storage.

"The cost for a slip ranges from $99 to $150 a foot. In season we have 5 factory (Yamaha, Mercury, Volvo Penta, and Suzuki) trained mechanics available for hire. We also own Oakdale Boat Center which features Everglades and Cobia boats along with used and brockage boats."

Starting out as Charlie's Fishing Station in Babylon in 1960 and since sold to The Gull, the Crowley family carried on adding to dad's idea, taking many risks, and working hard to have the businesses they manage today.
