I was born Patricia Lynn Ryan in 1950, grew up in Levittown, NY. I was constantly drawing or painting or creating something with my hands since the age of three (when I did "my first mural").

I moved to Sayville in 1981, raised two wonderful children there. I started painting again in 1997, when my youngest went off to college. I have no formal training. I am simply inspired by the beauty that surrounds me. As I grow older, I look at life differently, especially after 9/11. I choose to paint, as it soothes the soul and takes me back to the simpler times, when we were all still innocent. Painting helps me to stay "in the moment".
