 In
the summer of 2007, Kayla performed
her '50s songs at the local town fair,
which quickly turned into a dozen town
fairs around Long Island where she was
asked to perform. People were blown
away by the then 9-year-old girl in
the poodle skirt singing the oldies.
Kayla is currently performing with
some of the greatest legends of rock
and roll! Kayla has many prestigious
titles under her belt as well; Cutie
Pie Idol 1st Place, Airport Star
Search Idol Winner and Kid Vocalist Of
The Year 2007!
Kayla is planning on writing her own
music in the future. She hopes to keep
the "oldies" new, appealing to
listeners of all ages.
When not performing, Kayla is a normal
11-year-old girl who attends Sayville
Middle School. She is a bookworm,
enjoys school (yes, that's right), she
crochets, is learning the piano and
guitar, surfs the net on her laptop,
and has great interests in life's
simple pleasures, particularly
shopping and cooking. Kayla is an
animal lover and believes in imposing
stricter laws against animal abuse.
Among other causes that she advocates,
Kayla is passionate about child abuse,
cancer research and the environment!
