Born in Manhattan, Joan, her husband and two children moved to Sayville many moons ago. It wasn't until the 1990's that Joan put into effect (full time) her driving passions of art-history-storytelling-acting and writing. She created a line of boutique stationery and went on to get into the spin of the professional art world. At present, she is the President of the National League of American Pen Women, Suffolk Branch. When she wants to remove herself from the solitary confines of her home studio, she takes her show on the road, "The Magic of Main Street Movies", making appearances on Long Island and New York City. On this site you will see some of Joan's art work. Her stationery can be purchased at museum stores and upscale shops on Long Island. She will be holding art classes in 2008.
