Hey Fox: I sure appreciate your optimism in regards to my Yanks. I am not so confident. The Yankee starting pitching situation is chaotic at best. C.C. is money! A.J. is looking better. Hughes has not been very good of late. Who knows when Pettite makes it back. Vasquez is unreliable and then we have 2 rookies. Last year the strength of the Yankee's were their 3 man rotation and the bullpen. Their bullpen is great right now--which will be crucial if their starters fail. The Yankee's can usually make up for a deficit with their offense--not the case now. Jeter (it pains me to say this) is killing us. He needs to moved out of the 1-2 slot and down to 8-9th. Cano is in a slump. Tex is cooling off (but he will be fine) and A-Rod is starting to look good again. If Jeter and Cano continue with their numbers and don't right the ship by playoff time--we are in trouble. It boils down to this. The Yanks have the better offense vs the Rays stellar starting rotation. In the playoffs great pitching always beats good offense. If God really loves the Yanks--he will help get us Pettie back healthy.

The Cowboys season will not s**k! We might all wish that, but they are far to good for that happen. For all you jet fans REVIS is back. Big addition for the Jets. Will the Jets live up to Ryan's mouth? It all rests on Sanchez!!!! I hear that Brandon Jacobs is not happy being demoted--maybe it will make him run harder than last year and last longer into the season. I can't see Bradshaw going through the season injury free.

Hi FOXFAN, yes we sure have been experiencing a lot of ran and high winds the last couple of days. We have had some flooding and should get some more as the waters flow down to the gulf. We, at the casa are fine, just wet. There was some wind damage but after things dry up we'll get it fixed. I never thought about the water coming from Dallas but you might be right. Yes, Patrick started school last week. Patrick goes to Houston tomorrow for another evaluation. He has been experiencing some mood problems which has caused some additional problems. His Doctor ordered some blood tests last week and now the results are in. So, tomorrow he will be re-evaluated and we will see if there is anything to be seen. He is just a good kid and has a lot on his plate to deal with, thanks for asking.

I suppose your talking about last night, tonight they lost 6-2. * wins in a row followed by 3 losses in a row--now that's the kind of play that's going to win another World Series! Should be a good Thurs night game. I don't think the Vikes will be any better than 10-6.

I don't worry about the outcome FoxFan, it's Yankees all the way
As for the someone watching over the Mets this year, I don't know who that is but I'm sure they or he is seeing the same thing you are.

Yanks lose again (just when I thought we were going to distance ourselves from the Rays) but the Mets lose as well.

Hey Fox: I was joking about the Giants letting Carr go, he was a good backup and a guy capable of putting wins on the board if and when Eli goes down. But Rosenfels can play as well, plus they get an average return guy as well. Sports Illustrated has the Giants winning the NFC East! I'm in shock. They must see something I don't but I hope they are right. The Giants for some reason have the 6th hardest schedule in the NFL--I don't see how they win the East with that, but they are the experts and I'm not. I'm still sticking with my 8-8 prediction.

I'm glad to see the Yanks putting some distance between the Rays and themselves--but it really only matters in who has home field in the playoffs. Both teams are good and both are going to the playoffs.

Hey Gregg: Yanks won there 8th game in a row, Don't remember when those Mets won 2 in a row?

Good pick up for the Giants. Where you joking when you said you were glad Giants got rid of Carr?

Hey Fox: Yanks had another good game, but they only lead Tampa by one game, and they play 7 more with them.

Giants got Rosenfelds from Minnesota---good news. They now have a decent backup for Eli.

They won again today as well, C.C. pitched a one hitter and they won 5-0.

Fox: How is it looking for the island with earl coming? I saw tonight it looked liked it turned more to N.E. and it appeared only the tip of Mass might take a pretty good hit. Hope all you guys get is some rain.

I don't think the scar is going to effect him, but I saw where his backup is out for the year. Good thing we let David Carr go.

Hey Gregg: Plax n Clemens Cellmates! Your right about the Giants and him, Terrible how one player could do that to a team! It just had that rippling effect.. Taped the Game tonight, I don't even know what happened.
The News is all about that Hurricane Earl? I personally think we will just get some rain and wind!

Just got home from work, Watch the Giant game now! I had a Big Giant Fan tonight call Eli, Scarhead!! He will never be the same after that head injury? Please say it ain't so!!

Hey Fox: A good win tonight. A.J. pitched okay, and the bullpen did great again. A-Rod is back on Sunday, Berkman came back today and Pettite could be back in the rotation by next week. Things are starting to look up. Tex is hitting a ton right now!

I think Clemens is going away for a year, him and Plax can be cellmates?
Plax has one consoling thought! The Giants have been nothing since he left.

Hey Gregg: Good win again with those Yanks!! Big lose with those Mets?

Plax gets denied work release yesterday, He will be in there now till next June. He will be 34 yrs. old when 2011 season comes rolling around. He can start hanging out with Brett! I still can't understand how he did that to himself?

Lets see what happens to Clemens with his crime?

I ignored it as usual. I can stomach to watch that phony. Fox: Yanks win again. I am cautiously optimistic that their offense (minus Jeter) has for the first time finally clicked. They still have starting pitching woes, but their bullpen is doing great right now. We need Pettite back soon.

Hey Fox: The Yanks beat up on really good pitcher today, and Vazquez actually pitched great in 4 innings of relief. So, for the 8th straight day, the Rays and Yanks remain tied with the best record in baseball. This one is going to go down to the end.
