I was completely against Newt winning the nomination until this pass weekend. After watching him debate, I'm re-thinking my position on who can beat Obama. Romney is not a charismatic speaker, Newt is. Newt knows how to play Washington politics, not sure Romney does. The debates will expose Obama for the socialist he is, and the damage he is doing to this country. Four more years of him and we will be broke.

Might not want to laugh to much. If Newt gets the nod, it won't be hands off and play nice with Obama like McCain did last time. This time Obama is actually going to have debate on his own merits (which are few) and his failures (which are many) and Newt is far smarter than Obama is. I'm still in complete shock the Giants are Super Bowl bound. It was evident in the 4th quarter that it was going to take a turnover to win that game, both defenses were that good. Eli played maybe his greatest game as a Giant. He was sacked 6 times, knocked down 12 and hit 19 times, and he kept his cool, didn't force a pass and made the plays when they were there. The Giants in this playoff run have turned the ball over only once, small wonder they are winning.

They need to figure out how to cover tight ends, they are getting 2 of the best in 2 weeks. But for the first time this season I'm betting on the Giants. If they can limit the Pats running game, and pressure Brady, the Giants offense should be able to put up 30 points on the Pats defense. They can certainly win this game.

   So it's N.E. and Big Blue AGAIN...Lets hope it has the same ending as 2008!!


   S.F. would have won that game if it wasn't for Williams giving Giants 10 pts. Imagine how he feels today, also Cundiff botching that field goal for Ravens, They would have won that game too!! That guilt will haunt them forever!!

Utilizing their assets is the issue. They already have a fully functional facility on Tyler. They could renovate it for a fraction of the cost of building new. The Tyler Ave. facility is in a residential area which is a problem. It is however, central to the schools. You dont't solve that problem by moving it into another residential neighborhood further from the schools. More importantly, the costs to clean up the Tyler Ave. facility to enable it to be sold will be the same as if it is being renovated. The board has yet to show what exactly is even wrong with the Tyler Ave. property that warrants such remediation.

I got the NIMBY & the utilization of assets part right.
I know Fire depts and water districts can condemn at will.
Is the schools use considered commercial?
They could knock down the old library and put it there.
Buy it.
I'm sure they will look at all reasonable offers.
